Yay - heard my first CBC this morning (about 10mins ago). I live in The Gap in Brisbane. Seemed that I heard them much later last year. Anyway this one was moving through very quickly. Heading for Southern states no doubt.

I have often wondered as to whether they travel as individuals, or in pairs with their mates or in a flock and fanning out as they go? Parrots always travel in pairs or flocks, rare to see a solo parrot in flight, as too Ravens always in pairs or as part of a flock (or murder, which is the correct title).
So much for border protection eh? The Common Koels and CBC's are back again!
My first CBC was heard last Thursday 13th Sep around 0400hrs in the morning, very loud coming from bush two streets away, has been heard on a daily basis in the pre dawn since. So they are in north western Sydney now...
