Elegant Parrots in Australian Arid Lands Botanic Gardens

Ealier this month I saw my first Elegant Parrots at the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Gardens. They were quite common on that particular morning. It seems I always either misidentified them as Purple-crowned Lorikeets or just didn't notice them. I guess it always pays to take a closer look! Another lifer was the Spotted Harrier. No interesting mammals, reptiles or frogs were seen on this trip. These are some of the photos I got of the parrots (note they have been downsized to fit into the upload requirements).

Nice photos of the parrots, lovely looking birds, quite a big group of them. Well done getting two new sightings. Thanks for posting.

Good stuff, yes certainly looks fairly big flock as well

I see them in my area of South West of W.A on regular basis but not in those numbers

Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
