Eagleby wetlands is hard work. But it pays to visit often as you never know what will be around. Last trip there I took this Fan-tailed Cuckoo, a first for me and a bird I did not know existed. About a month ago I took a shot of a Shining Bronze Cuckoo fairly close to where I found this one.

Well done alcatraz. Its always like that when you start out. You have never heard of a bird and then as soon as you take a photo of them you realise how many of them are around.
