Hello,
I am new to this forum. I haven't been able to find any information after an extensive web search, but I thought you might be able to help.
Are nesting birds protected in NSW?
My neighbour has knocked all the fairy martin (I think that's what they are - sorry, not brilliant with my bird identification) nests off his house after the birds spent 3 to 4 weeks building them. The nests weren't finished, so didn't contain eggs or chicks.
I know that fairy martins are fairly common, but they worked so hard building their nests - to me it seems very unfair and wrong to destroy them. However, as I am new to Australia I
don't know whether destrying nests is allowed.
Please advise.
no destrying nest is NOT allowed leave them alone what did thay did to you tell him that
