Birdwatching Around Orange NSW

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has been to the Bird Walk at the Orange Botanic gardens? I'm thinking of going this Sunday.

I spent a couple of hours out at Lake Canobolas today. I managed to photograph 16 species. I got photos of a Golden-headed Cisticola which I was pretty happy about. I actually went out there to see a Musk Duck but didn't see one. Has anyone else been out there? Any tips on what to look for?

I've also heard that South Mullion Reserve out past Clifton Grove is good for birds. Anyone been there?

Thanks
