I’m trying to count how many different Birds visit my place.
Does a Raptor flying over my place without touching down count as a ‘Bird in My Back Yard'?
There are also Geese and a few others I can’t ID that fly over.

No mate. I read the survey guidelines and sorry but landing in your yard is the only thing that counts. I would suggest that's because some people might be tempted to count birds that they didn't positively id as they flew over.
