are UK birds allowed?!

Hi all, I'm off to see family in the UK in a couple of weeks, obviously will be taking camera equipment,...and going for walks with my sister 'birding' ... am I allowed to upload any interesting bird shots to this site or do they have to be in my 'Australian Backyard'?!!

well ... I will keep all my elusive and rare sightings and great shots all to myself then... no sharing at all :)

Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best

Oh, touché. Ok then, rare, interesting and any UK birds are hereby allowed.

Sut beriously, this forum is a small enough community to be able to be a bit flexible with its regular characters!

I say do your worst/best!

Sut beriously?...you sound like me after a few reds, hic! I promise not to bombard you all.....I think they only have sparrows and a few maggies that can't even sing like ours anyhow!

I believe the gannet is a standard British bird.

Tassie

Gidday Hev, I for one would love to see some british birds and if you get some feathered ones that would be good to...lol
Seriously it would be good to see some.
You are from Hereford hey, home to the British SAS, I have read several books by Andy Mc Nabb ex SAS and he refers to Hereford on a regular basis.
They say the locals advise the base when they see suspicious strangers in town, have you heard of that ?

Hey Tassie, Hereford home to Hereford cows, Bulmers cider and SAS!!Haven't heard about locals advising the base about suspicious strangers but sounds feasable... there were certain pubs where I was 'banned' from going by my Mum though...because that's where all the SAS guys drank and the most likely to have a bomb planted by the IRA (at the height of the troubles) but for me that was the attraction of course (the SAS guys not the bombs)so I regularly bucked the bans!!

Hi Ed, I used to live in Throwleigh in Devon (in another life!)and worked in Exeter training guide dogs for the blind... nice part of the UK with Dartmoor on the doorstep (shame about it being cold and wet all the time!)
