Saw three species today which, like ghosts here, are often talked about but rarely seen: Sacred Kingfisher (3rd sighting in 28 years), Rufous Songlark (the earliest by far that I've seen one but only get occasional visits anyway) & Masked Lapwing (very occasional visitor).
What is your location Woko? Sacred Kingfisher and Masked Lapwing are both common here on mid-north coast of NSW but I havent seen Rufous Songlark in the 2 years I have been birding here.
