thanks Elizabeth. I was just going through my photos of today, and spotted this one which I had missed. The fantail seems to be going for a tiny flying insect (the bright spot just in front of it). All I wanted was a bird on a stick pic.
That last one is a classic - well done.
You are getting great shots by being a fraction of a second late on your bird on a twig shots!!
Ive being very late on some - just an empty twig, no bird in the picture at all.
I get a lot of still life too -- "twig at sunset" is my favourite title.
