I was taking macro shots of a praying mantis when I heard a commotion in the grevillea. By the time I got there the bird (a butcher, I think) was flying off and I noticed a feather still in the bush. Having my macro on I took a few shots. It was only when I put them on the big screen that I noticed in what looks like a parasite in one shot but was clearly not there in the very next frames.
