Wondering if anyone can help?
The first one is the photo of the nest found under pines where I know Magpie-larks were breeding. Found also were the feathers and egg shell. I didn't realise their nests were so big or solidly lined so wanted to confirm it was a Magpie-lark. I'm also assuming their must have been a fledging and egg in the nest? Unfortunately we have Currawongs in the garden.
Second question is the photo of the fledging seen in the nest of a White-winged Triller. It was being fed very frequently and we wondered whether it was in fact a W-w Triller or some sort of cuckoo.
There are two fledglings there (one behind the branch). Do they both look the same?
If so, it is unlikely to be a cuckoo, as cuckoos usually only lay a single egg in another bird's nest.
Cheers

Thank you Tim. Both fledgings looked the same so question answered.
