ID this bird noise?

Hello,

I was out camping in tullarook, victoria and heard this noise about every 5 minutes the whole night. It seemed to stop during the day and start again at night.

I showed my friend who lives bush and he thinks its a birs but im not convinced. Is this a bird guys??

Edit: I should have mentioned that it isnt the kookaburra or crickets. Its a deep "beeeep, beeeeep, beeeeep" that is very quiet in the video, you will havw to turn up your volume to hear it.

Two birds come to mind:

- Bronzewings (brush or common) have a long deep repeating call like that

- Tawny frogmouth - have a low repeating "ooom, ooom, ooom" but it doesn't sound exactly right for that.

If it was calling through the night than it is more than likely a Tawny Frogmouth. Painted Buttonquail has a very simlar call but unlikely to be vocal all throught the night.
