Identification please

Hello,

Can you kind folk please identify this noisy nocturnal visitor. (not even 100% sure this is a bird??)  I live in Kalaru, Far South Coast NSW.  The call is continual, when I go out to try and find this elusive visitor it moves through the trees (I'm in the bush).  I have lived here for 5 years and never heard it before, we have just done some clearing and the canopy is wider now.  Only started this week and starts right around dark.
