This bird has been hanging around for a few days now, I only ever hear it in the trees behnd my house. Except for today when he hopped into my courtyard. I took a photobut it isn't a good photo as I took it through the glass door.
Any help on identifying him would be great.
I look through my field guide for birds of Australia but can't find him.

It looks to me like a juvenile Common Koel. They have a beautiful call and I hope you had a very happy Christmas!
