Bird in Winton wetlands

This was taken in Winton wetlands (Lake Mokoan) Victoria. Only got two shots and both about the same.

Hi Meave. Possibly a Little Grassbird. :)

Thanks Elle, we did get some little grassbirds at the wetlands, so I know they were there, lots of them, but this bird looks so grey (must admit it was an overcast day so the light was a pain). Thanks for the thought, that hadn't occurred to me.:)

Looks like a Grey shrike thrush to me :-)

Thanks Windhover, I did wonder about that but wasn't sure enough to call it that. Horrible light, overcast but glary.

I've never seen a grey shrike thrush with that mottled / stripey breast area before. :-?

...although I just did a google image search and found that some do indeed have that colouring, so it could be a GST.

A juvenile grey shrike-thrush is my best guess.
