Sorry for the graphic nature of these shots, but I came across this fresh kill yesterday on my walk, and have been trying to identify it. I think it may be a little Friarbird, but the black and white tail feathers threw me a bit.
It didn't exactly make my day, I can tell you.
Any ideas?

I'm thinking perhaps a young Spotted Dove?
Yes Amateur, I hadn't thought of a dove. there are plenty of them around there. Poor thing.
