I live in NE Philadelphia, PA and I seen this bird on my neigbors roof, It sat there for close to 45 minutes looking for something. It was about a foot high looks sort of like a pigeon with a very long neck. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

It definitly didn't have anything in it's beak and I really don't think it is a pigeon, it was much too big and the neck was too long. Thanks, for the help!

It is definately a pigeon but the photos are too small to see the beak properly.
If it didn't have anything in its beak, then it has to be
a Scandaroon pigeon.
Also known as Nüremberg Bagdads.
