Reed-Warbler?

I saw this one at the Orange Botanic Gardens today. I'm thinking a Reed-Warbler. It was singing a pretty song and also making a cranky noise like a wren would make.

I saw one at Hunter wetlands when I was there, it kind of made a chattery clucking noise and flew off in a rufous flash!!!

Well spotted, I found it really hard to catch!

Looks like an Australian Reed Warbler to me. I have never had an opportunity to take a photo of one because as soon as they see me they head into the dense reeds... so well done to you!

They sing a beautiful song which is similar to a canary and seems to go on forever with continual pitch changes. Maybe more of a sarah blasko rather than say a nick cave!!

Hey no wonder I like that bird! I love both those singers anyway :)
