A while ago I posted a pic which was thought to be a Satin Bower bird. the thing was the eye colour was still in question. Here's that photo again:

Well today I took a couple of photos of a bird which looks very similar (to me that is ) This bird I thik has been chewing the tops of my carrots amongst other things in the garden (it looks pretty well fed in the side view)

Hi Dennis,
thanks. It's the lack of blue in the eyes of the Satin bowerbird here that has me doubting.
And yes the White Goshwak is my local favourite. I remember seeing one on a very stormy windy day and it was suspended in mid air as it tried to lean int othe wind (unfortunately no camera with me at the time). The nest near here, in the taller trees around the wet gully.
