honey eater id??

Surveys and interesting sightings
is where I fist posted this so please forgive a new comer.

This little bird comes into our garden to feed off various flowering natives. It has a gaggle of kids at present. We have always called them silver gills but I can not find it in any book or the search site here.

I am in Shepparton Victoria.
It helps having a photo to refer to. I went back through my books and thought that the white plumed honey eater was likely too. I kept thinking it was olive green all over.
So thanks for the input.

Hi Tielish, this is a white plumed honeyeater, we get quite a few in our backyard. They love the grevillas and water that we put out for them. Its great to watch them when the New Hollands come in and join them. One several occasions there is a mini war going on between the two. Great fun to watch. The white plume gives us many hours of pleasant watching. We have up to ten at a time. Enjoy
