Jerrabomberra Wetlands

I spent 2 hours walking around the wetlands yesterday without seeing a single raptor, then i went to what we call the Raptor tree and a Collared Sparrowhawk went wizzing past in hot pursuit of a starling. After an unsuccesfull pursuit it landed in the tree.

Not 15 seconds later a Hobby turned up swooping the Sparrowhawk, then 2 BSK started to swoop it with the adult giving up and the immature staying in the tree, then the Sparrowhawk attack's the BSK and it takes off. Then 2 Pied Currawong surround the Sparrowhawk and it too takes off, then it gets attacked by a Brown Goshawk.

The immature BSK returns only to take off in the presents of a Whistling Kite chasing a mob of Starlings.

All this in less than 10 minutes i am thinking, WOW how good is this and then a Little Eagle does a fly by.
