Lorikeets bathing

I went to have lunch in the park one day and I was surrounded by a group of very friendly lorikeets (who I had met before) They ate my grapes and my apple so I thought they might be thirsty after all that food so I put some water in my lunchbox. They decided to put the water to another more amusing use. Later in the video a couple of tourists saw them and asked me if they were all my birds ... I replied that they are wild and live in the park. I particularly like the birds who start rolling around on the wet grass. They were even rolling down the inclined grass. Some were actually rolling around next to and against my legs also as well as landing on my knees all sodden and shaking water on me similar to a dog. Then one of my regular friends pops up for a kiss.

The bird that gave me a kiss kept coming up to my face while I was filming the others, Thats why I turned the phone/camera around, it liked the taste of the apple on my lips I think. My odd reaction was caused by habit as there is a cockatoo there that kisses me and likes to touch tongues and bite my teeth. In fact there is more than one cokatoo that likes a kiss. I will post one of those later if I can find it.
