1st day yesterday in a week without rain and strong wind. Stopped to take some pics of Tasmanian Native Hens, when I saw 3 Masked Lapwings. Not sure where the 3rd one fits in, don't know if they are 2 males in the second picture or not. If you look carefully you can see the wing spurs in some of the photos.

Thanks for sharing, have only seen Lapwings once and they were banded lapwings , and not sure if I will have the pleasure again.

Thanks all, we have Masked Lapwings who will breed on our property, see them most days. These were elsewhere. Have not yet seen banded Lapwings, maybe one day!

Was down at Ann Bay recently there were 'hundreds' of them in the farm land ajoining the beach did not see any of that going on will have come down for the solstice one year
