Mozilla Firefox v. Internet Explorer

In case anyone is having problems loading Birds in Backyards using Internent Explorer I've switched to Mozilla Firefox for this purpose & it works OK.

Firefox and Chrome are both better then IE regardless, stay with Mozilla.

I haven't been able to access the site for about a week and I always use Firefox. The message I get is that the sites bandwidth has been exceeded. I am not sure others have had this problem but i haven't before this.

Shane that is correct, there has been a huge problem and there was nothing I could do to advise people as the site was down. Holly is away on holidays and the people who could do anythign were away on the weekend so it had to wait till Monday and it took a few days to fix unfortunately. That message was the sanme whether IE or Firefox at the time. It was totally cactus blush

Holly knows about it so I guess it will just be another challenge for her when she gets back from a much needed break. We have recently changed servers so that has somethign to do with it I think.

Cheers

Thank you Adrienne for letting me know about the issues affecting the site. I presumed that this is what happened and I was hoping it wasn't going to screw up Holly's vacation.

I'm using Firefox and have been having intermittent problems. Sometimes I can load this site and other times I can't. Been like that on and off for a week or more.  I was wondering if you were having server problems?

If it's a bandwidth issue the host simply needs  to increase the bandwidth limit.

Yes there ahve been issues, over the past few weeks there have been quite a few after migrating data to a new server. Holly has been away and was unable to get onto it at the time as she was on the high seas having a well deserved rest. She will be back on Monday and should be able to get onto it then Kathie

No need to apologise ...hope you had a lovely break.  Great to see you back and I expect photos wink

Yesterday there appeared to be some issues also with some being able to log on and see the site but others were not able to. It appeared to right itself later in the evening though.

Welcome back

Welcome back Holly. Hope you had a great time away.  Yes, I had challenges logging in on several occasions but it seems fine this morning.

Photos will definitely be uploaded!

Looks like I have the fun job of resizing all the images on the site too to try to solve the bandwidth issue - welcome back Holly cool

In my neck of the habitat today Internet Explorer won't allow me to connect to the site but Modzilla will. Probably explains Microsoft's first loss this century.
