We live adjacent to a patch of remnant Rainforest, and are immersed in the sounds of bird life, from kookaburras, easternwhipbirds, magpie, occasional currawong, tawny frogmouth, Wonga pigeon, emerald fruit dove, Pacific Baza, black cockatoos, treecreepers, striated pardalotes, green catbirds, superb wrens and more.
This bird has a beautiful strong call, and was flitting muscularly around our decks chasing insects, I presume. Can anyone identify it, sorry about video quality.
Grey Shrike-thrush
Thanks Steven, much appreciated.
