The White Winged Wren and the Splendid Wren were taken at the Alice Springs Desert Park, the others at my place.

Yes the Wrens have real character. These are lovely photos. I too like the high dive photo into the bird bath. I find the females are more compliant when taking photos and the guys go all camera shy. Maybe it's just my charm with the ladies.

I just got 2 new fairywrens on a trip to western NSW, Splendid and White-winged, but neither were in full breeding colour unfortunately - will have to go back in the warmer months one day. Thanks for sharing
