So I am trying to sort out all my photos before Bowra and I found these. Most of them were taking either on lunch or after work at my work place. The last one was another from Mt Glorious a few weeks ago. Hope you enjoy.

Great shots Dev! Looks like you could live at your work place with all the variety of birds there. Live at work..... there's a depressing thought:)

True. Taking photos as a job, I could handle that.

A very nice gallery, Devster.

I think those Wood Ducklings are Pacific Black Ducklings.

Thanks Woko. They are definately Wood Ducklings as I cropped the parents out of the shot. Unless they have adopted the Wood Ducklings :)

Thanks laza. I was torn whether to crop into the Whistler and do a Portrait shot which would show more detail or to leave it as a landscape. I like the colours in the background and am trying to do more setting shots rather than just close ups of birds.

A great set of shots again, Devon, thank you.  And I agree with your comment to laza about cropping the Whistler - it's all about the bird in it's habitat.

Great place to work for the bird photographer!

Those are great photos of the brown goshawks ... especially love the second one. Seems like you were able to get right under the tree they were perched in.

While I was working at my desk I could hear the Noisy Miners & Blue-Faced Honeyeaters going nuts. I hopped up, looked outside and could see one of the Goshawks. I said ok I'm going to lunch now, grabbed my camera and went under the tree to find best vantage point. It was a few minutes before I even noticed the Juvi in the tree.

Yes Rick, you are very good at doing that with your photos. I don't naturally have that artsie side so it's something I have to consciously work on.
