I found a cute pair of these guys snuggling last weekend, but I'd bumped my camera setting dial off the correct setting and none of the photos turned out. I was too busy sneaking to notice.
They grow everywhere on our property. No seriously Woko, we planted some a few years ago, but as they are indeginous to the area and grow behind us in the bush, they pop up everywhere now. Birds just love them.
The spot I circled badly, is where the Wrens nested last year. Hope they do the same soon.

They look like a couple of those sedge type plants that grow in forests where you live, Araminta. Seed-eating birds would love those!
