Redcap Parrot

Down on the Collie Rivermouth this morning and found a Redcap male parrot. Who was more interested in scratching then flying off like they normally do.

Plus a couple of usual rivermouth suspects providing photographic enjoyment

Lots of great photos there - stunning redcap parrot photo #1. The last osprey is a cracker - very impressive bird. Very nice flight shot of the pair of pelicans, i like that you left in the landscape features at the bottom which gives a real sense of place to the shot.

Wow the red-capped Parrot is such a stunning bird! I too love the pelican shot and the 2nd Osprey shot as well

Some great shots there Laza. I agree with WD's comments on the inclusion of the landscape.

Great shots laza.  I agree with the others. To see birds in flight in the context of the terrain really adds to the image. Cheers Murray

Nice laza. Love the RC Parrot and one I have not seen either. It's good to play around with your photos and try differnt styles of shots. I agree It gives debth to the photo and looks good.
