I met some of my oldest friends, and we celebrated the "survival of indigenous culture". My old friend Gnarnayarrahe Waitairie, elder from Indjibungji nation in Roeburne, told stories and played the Didgeridoo . Later a Wurundjeri Elder performed the Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony.

I'm glad you got to see your friends M-L and those are lovely photos again - he'd be happy to see them I would expect.
I read up a bit on the Belgrave Survival Day - too bad this festival is not more widespread.
