This little fella has been calling out atop one of the 2 clotheslines in our backyard for about a month to 3 weeks now. I thought there was just one of them but this morning I got a photo of 2 of them, or maybe 1 and a half. It appears this bird has moved into the roof of the Flats possibly sharing the same roof space as the House Sparrows. I've seen this bird fly down onto the clothesline from the roof area many a times. It took me 4 attempts to get this bird identified and filmed. It calls out from the clothesline about 8-10 times a day. So this is a new species to my garden and possibly the first native species breeding on the property. The video was taken around 8:45AM, 10 November 2016 in Tenterfield, NSW. Enjoy.
