Watched my first (in many years of bird watching) kill of a small bird (red backed wren) by a Drongo. An amazing change of direction at speed then a double back after it had passed the bush that the wrens and cisticolas were sitting in caught them all by suprise. The Drongo hit the wren in flight with his beak, the wren tumbled into the long grass and all the Drongo was left with was a beak full of feathers. Nature at its best and worst....
Thats unreal ed,I never would have thought Drongos do that.
