Recently I was sitting quietly on a seat in our local Wetlands when a Grey Fantail appeared in the bushes very close to me. She didn't appear at all alarmed by my presence but continually hopped in front of me and then back into a particular bush. Curiosity aroused, I had to look and there she was sitting in her nest.
I took this photo with a large lens, anxious not to disturb her, but she really appeared quite proud of her efforts and I almost think she was inviting me to have a look!
Hope you enjoy seeing her.
Thanks Lyn, I know exactly what you mean with regard to a rapport that I believe can and does exist between humans and wild birds.
