I added a photo to my "Best Photo" Heron chick" post, which I probably should have put here, as you may miss it.
We have just realised that there are 3 chicks in the nest - one very much larger than the other two.
I hope the adults don't fly off with the large chick leaving the other two behind.
Do you know what their general behaviour is on leaving the nest with the young ones? I presume they will head for water
soon.
