List of birds at Gloucester eco resort

Hi everybody,
I was in Queensland last week and spent a few days at the Gloucester eco resort. There was an amazing abundance of birds. Here is a list of what I remember:

Sunbird, butcherbird, magpie, friarbird, rainbow lorikeet, pale-headed rosella, eagle, kite, duck, tawny frogmouth, blue-winged kookaburra, cockatoo, seagull, osprey, honeyeater, yellow tailed black cockatoo, brush turkey.

I took some photos, but they're nothing special. I might put some up later.

Soakes HI.... where is that ? I am so wanting to go to O'Reilly's up in the Lamington ranges, but it's a bit pricey so have to wait for that one.

Cheers

Hi Birdie, I just read you'r post about O'Riellys. You don't have to stay there, you can go there for a day trip (free). I was very disappointed the day that I went. Hundreds of people and very few birds other than the tame ones you feed. I went on some of the walks and the only wild birds I seen were a couple of White-browed Scrub-wrens, A few Turkeys and One Eastern Whip Bird. The road to the place is one of the worst roads that I have seen and I don't know how the dozens of buses that go there daily negotiate the very narrow corners. In my opinion it is a good place ruined, I'm sure some will disagree
