Hi Marj I should have been more specific I meant Alberts Lyrebird I know their illusive but am just wondering if any one in this area sees them often
Cheers Helen
I thought Albert's Lyrebird was restricted to the south-east corner of Queensland and far north-east NSW. I wouldn't have expected to see them south of Ballina.
I was sure it was an Albert's Lyrebird but I could be wrong maybe it was a Superb, anyway it was my first sighting of a Lyrebird in this area in ten years. Many thnx Marj
Being common is not the same thing as regularly seen :-) The Superb Lyrebird is found all along Waterfall Way, and in rainforest on the coast.
