My latest sightings

I have seen a few different birds lately but they have all been at just before dusk and very poor conditions for photography.

topknot in Buderim

flock of black cockies in the same garden as the Topknot

unusual duck injury taken at Montville

a very shy female figbird over my back fence , she was being pursued by 2 males at the time

The topknot was a great opportunity for me and a first close up

Cheers

yeah, couldn't believe my luck to be standing in my friend's garden and have a tree full of black cockies AND this beautiful Top Knot as well. I have only ever seen a pair once before and they were way up the top of a gum tree so that I couldn't be sure of the identification.
This one was in no hurry as he/she picked off all the juicy berry fruits on the tree!!

Gidday Birdie, can you help me please, I am trying to ID a bird call that has been posted under ID's and I can't place it but I know it to be very common in the timber around Noosa,Buderim areas, I know you will know it when you hear it.
Cheers Tassie.

Hi Tassie
.
Which is the bird call ID question?
Couldn't find it under Identifications thread.
Can you post a link, or tell us the title of the thread?
