Hello, can anyone tell me if it is usual for sparrows to be feeding on bottlebrush flowers. They have been there every day since the tree started flowering. I haven't seen this before, they even hang upside down like the honeyeaters. I thought house sparrows were seed eaters!

i have noticed sparrows feeding on grevilea flowers in my backyard. Also they have been hanging upside down feeding on the flowers.
