6+ Regent Honeyeaters were seen feeding in flowering Stringbark and Spotted Gum at Quorrobolong in the Hunter Valley, as well as gleaning from wattles and hawking for insects.

The Regent Honeyeater is an endangered bird sometimes seen near Coffs Harbour. They have been observed at the biodiversity hotspot of Moonee. An estimated 1500 left in Australia. Report sightings to the Regent Honeyeater Conservation Officer, Department of Environment & Conservation on 0428243944 or Hotline Freecall 1800621056.
