Strange new bird

I have several Yellow-tufted honeyeaters in my garden but one has a red crown on his head. I want to know if anyone can tell me if this is a sub species or not. I am very keen to know as much about the bird as I can.

Here's a photo of the bird.

Thank you NoisyMajor for adding my photo. I am still having trouble inputting photos. I don't want to waste space in the forum making mistakes. Can you please tell how I send a picture of the bird to search and discover? As I do not know where the link is or where to go to find it.

I told a bird watcher friend about this bird, serendipity, and he asked would you mind if he sees a photo of it, please? Have you one that is closer up to it?

Hi Betty I am still failing at adding pictures so I have added a picture of the little bird onto my profile so you can see closer. Someone suggested it was pollin but I am not sure because I thought it would wear off and the little birds have been here for a few weeks now and the other ones do not have red on their heads from feeding

That's a good enough photo for my friend to see I think. If the other birds don't have the red it can't be from feeding, you're right. I'll let you know what he says, he's been bird watching for 40 years. What a surprise it must have been when you spotted this one.

Betty, now that I finally know how to ad a photo I've picked one of the little bird with the red head for you
