I just wish to share that i live in north eastern victoria and i have a black honeyeater in my backyard. It is feeding on my eremophilas.
WOW, what a thrill to have this one visit your garden.
Cheers,
George Melbourne, VIC
Lucky to have them visit! Did you know? Black Honeyeaters, especially females, often eat charcoal and ash at old camp-fire remains. Just read this on the BiBY page on them, rather interesting birds aye.
