I saw a large bird in the river on the weekend. It dived and came up with a large fish in its mouth. I was later able to identify it as a little black cormorant. (I was not quite able to identify the fish!)
I was a bit sad that such a fish had to die (they are so good to watch in the evenings) but I suppose that is the price of nature.
Of course my camera was nowhere close at the time.
