We have been very lucky here in Canberra to have a group of Swifts hanging around for many weeks now.
I finally got out to see them the other day and i got a count of 11.
Reports vary but it seems there are at least 12 with at least one being an immature bird.

Thanks everyone, it was nice to get to see them.
Rick...... The Swifts are gone and the owl has moved to a different tree as his old tree has lost it's leaves so he is not in a good spot now for photos. If you ever come up my way i would be happy to show you around though.
