For those interested in the Tamron 150-600mm lens, here is a pic of a number plate I took from a distance of just over 70 metres. Focal length was set at 500mm and apeture was f6.3 (wide open).I cropped the image in close to give you a good idea of the image quality. I use the lens on a D7100 and auto focus performance is excellent. Hope this helps anyone interested in this lens to decide if they want to get one or not, any questions just ask
