Great photos WD. I see your Royal Spoonbill is in his breeding plumage. Very common in SE Queensland but even in parks where people are always around they still tend to be very wary. I haven't seen a Yellow-billed Spoonbill yet.

actually I have only seen them west of the Great Divide

I get them at work in the dam at Samford sometimes.
At one stage there was a Royal and a Yellow Spoonbill foraging reasonably close together.
