Two Birds for Id

Two birds I'm not sure of the id, seen near Richmond NSW - thanks for any help with ids.

Bird #1 - only got rear views and one profile

Bird #2

#1 - Skylark

#2 - maybe a young Peregrine falcon, or a young Hobby?

Tegan - Melbourne Vic.

Bird 1 no idea.

Bird 2 with "tear drops" Brown Falcon, maybe light morph, as always happy to be corrected by someone with more experience

no doubt a brown falc

I think the first one is a Horsfield's Bushlark. The bill looks too chunky & the wings too short for Skylark.

I would go with bushlark and brown falcon light morph

Thanks for the help

My original thoughts were also Skylark and Brown Falcon. Im not sure on the skylark now - it might be the bushlark as suggested - but i can't ignore the definite crest so i will stick with skylark.

don't bushlarks usually have rufous on the wings?

That would be a thick billed Skylark if it was one. I'm no expert on other possablities
