Unknown small bird, help with ID

i managed to get a quick (very poor quality) picture of this small bird, it was flying in the upper canopy of Sand Stringybarks Eucalyptus arenacea, i dont have a picture of this species in my photo collection, the nearest thing i have is the White eared honeyeater Lichenostomus leucotis, but im sure it is not this species, the photo was taken in the north western corner of Ngarkat Conservation Park, SA

Thanks Matthew

Hi Matthew.

Certainly no expert, maybe a scruffy/ruffled male Golden Whistler? As always happy to be wrong.

Agree with Dale, a scruffy looking male Golden Whistler. Not sure if it is moulting or coming into adult plumage.
