Question for the administrators - does this forum software support sound files? If so, could you switch it on or enable upload of .wav / .mp3 / .mpeg files? There are a lot of requests to identify birds by their calls, and it would be great for people to be able to upload phone recordings etc.
I think the only way currently is to provide a link to an external site, such as YouTube. The upload limit here is pretty low. Another might be to use the link below, again I think you need to upload your file and post the link. I have never used either for this purpose, but somewhere to start I guess.

Yes, I know thats currently true, Dale, but my question (perhaps for Holly) is - can we enable direct uploads of sound files here? It would make it far more easy for people to share sound files, and they could also be limited to reasonable file sizes like image files are.
