It was a stinking hot day when i settled intoo the backyard birdhide expecting to see the usual suspects, when a very thirsty swamp wallaby tried to get a drink from the birdbaths.
Late in the day a kingfisher dived into a birdbath with just 1cm of water in it. and repeated the dive several times. heat and drought does strange things. Also snapped a white chinned honeyeater.
Great shots, love the White-Throated Honeyeater pose. Glad the wallaby went under the branch and not on it.
