Warriewood Wetlands

Hi everybody,

One of my favourite birding spots is Northern Beaches Warriewood Wetlands. At this location I have seen so many species as I live 2 minutes away and go birdwatching about 4 times a week. Some of the highlights have included:

The successful breeding of pacific baza's raising 2 chicks ( richman posted some great photos of the bazas previously), black bittern (seen about 10 times), pheasant Coucal, brown Quail, Lathams snipe, Australasian grebe and so many more.

Some beautiful shots there Babybirdwatcher. Particularly like the Heron, one of my favourite birds.

Beautiful shots indeed!  You're so lucky having somewhere like this so close to you BabyBirdwatcher.  Love them all, had a smile at the Baza directing traffic (pose), but all truly wonderful! smiley
